...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN RAWLINS...NORTHWESTERN DECATUR...RED WILLOW AND EASTERN
HITCHCOCK COUNTIES...

At 837 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Cambridge to 12 miles south of Herndon to 7 miles
northwest of Colby, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Mesonet. At 824 PM CDT, a 62 mph wind gust was reported 7
         miles northeast of Oberlin, Kansas.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Oberlin and Lebanon around 845 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Traer
and Cedar Bluffs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
