...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN KANSAS...

At 123 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest of
Bird City, or 13 miles southeast of St. Francis, moving east at 85
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
St. Francis, Bird City, and Wheeler.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for northwestern
Kansas.

building.
