The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey this morning near the Village of Edgar in Marathon County WI. The survey was in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on May 21, 2024. Preliminary findings confirm a tornado occurred to the northwest of the Village of Edgar. A final assessment, including tornado rating, track and other results of the survey, is expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement later this afternoon.
