National Weather Service Green Bay WI
358 PM CDT Sun May 26 2024

From the late morning through the middle of the afternoon, an area
of rain moved northeast as low pressure shifted into northern
Illinois. By 4 pm, over an inch of rain has already been measured
at Wisconsin Rapids. Most of the area has been free of
thunderstorms, with the exception of Manitowoc which saw an
embedded rumble of thunder. At 4 pm, temperatures ranged from the
lower 50s to middle 60s across the region.

The low pressure system remains expected to track northeast across
southeast Wisconsin tonight. Periods of rain, locally heavy at
times, will continue this evening before diminishing overnight.

An upper-level system is forecast to track through the Upper
Mississippi Valley on Memorial Day, bringing additional rain
chances to the region tomorrow afternoon. High temperatures are
forecast to range from the mid 60s across northeast and east-
central Wisconsin to the low 70s further inland.
