960 AWUS83 KGRB 202107 RWSGRB WIZ005-010>013-018>022-030-031-035>040-045-048>050-073-074-210915- Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin National Weather Service Green Bay WI 407 PM CDT Mon May 20 2024 Showers and storms have been ongoing early this afternoon across much of east-central WI. Initial estimates are showing areas in the Fox Valley have already picked up just over an inch of rain today with areas further north and west picking up just over half an inch. As of 4pm temperatures were ranging from the middle 50s near the lakeshore to around 70 degrees in north central WI. Showers and storms will continue to work east across east- central WI this afternoon before exiting the region this evening leaving the area mostly dry overnight. With the rainfall today and wind become light overnight areas of widespread fog will be possible overnight and may linger into Tuesday morning and impact morning commuters. Lows overnight are forecast to range from the upper 40s along the UP boarder to the upper 50s in central WI and the Fox Valley. Confidence is increasing in potential for impactful severe weather and localized flooding across much of the forecast area Tuesday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes will be possible with stronger storms. The greatest chance for severe storms will be across central Wisconsin in the afternoon, shifting further east through the evening. There could be multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms. High temperatures are forecast to range from the upper 60s across the Northwoods to the mid 70s in central Wisconsin. $$ GK
