The Flood Advisory is cancelled for portions of piedmont and western
North Carolina, including the following areas, in piedmont North
Carolina, Catawba. In western North Carolina, Burke.

Excessive runoff has ended.  Lyle Creek and Falling Creek have
crested; therefore, the nuisance flood threat in Hickory has ended.
Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.
