...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ANDERSON COUNTY
THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Anderson, or 5 miles west of Williamston, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Anderson, Piedmont, Williamston, Northlake, West Pelzer,
Powdersville, and Sandy Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina.
