  Western Buncombe County in western North Carolina...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 333 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast
  of Waynesville, or near Canton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  North Asheville, Woodfin, Canton, Weaverville, Leicester,
  UNC-Asheville, Enka, Candler, Flat Creek, and Canto.
