  Eastern Polk County in western North Carolina...
  Northwestern Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 322 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast
  of Columbus, or 5 miles east of Landrum, moving north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Forest City, Columbus, Landrum, Campobello, Lake Bowen, Mill
  Spring, Green Creek, Fingerville, Spindale, and Rutherfordton.
