River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 233 AM HST, radar indicated moderate to locally heavy rain over Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1 inches per hour. This rainfall has caused rises in area streams, most notably the Manoa and Makiki Streams. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Honolulu, Waipio, Mililani, Pearl City, Waikele, Wahiawa, Wheeler Field, Waipahu, Aiea, Kunia, Halawa, Waiahole, Waikane, Schofield Barracks, Salt Lake, Kahaluu, Moanalua, Ahuimanu, Iroquois Point and Ewa Beach. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to flooding. && This advisory may need to be extended beyond 545 AM HST if flooding persists.
