including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Line of strong storms moving off the coast this morning.
Recreational boaters should stay in port until conditions improve.
Wind gusts above gale force are anticipated along these storms.
Slow improvement is anticipated during the late morning and early
afternoon hours. Rounds of showers and storms will be possible
through the weekend with rain chances tapering off next week. Some
of these storms could become strong to severe, producing damaging
wind gusts and locally elevated seas.
