The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Galveston Bay...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1250 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Mitchell
  Bay, or 12 nm west of Trinity Bay. The strong thunderstorm was
  nearly stationary, but producing gusty outflow winds into the
  middle bay.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Coast Guard.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Smith Point, Upper San Jacinto Bay, Mitchell Bay, Scott Bay, Black
  Duck Bay, northern Galveston Bay, Tabbs Bay, Crystal Bay, Burnet
  Bay, and Trinity Bay.
