...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND SOUTHERN
MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 AM CDT...

At 945 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Point Comfort, or near Port Lavaca, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, Palacios, Point Comfort, Alamo Beach, Olivia, Lolita,
Indianola, Schicke Point, Port Alto, and Vanderbilt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
