...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHAMBERS...SOUTH
CENTRAL LIBERTY AND EAST CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM
CDT...

At 1246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
northeastern Houston Ship Channel, or over Channelview, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Pasadena, Baytown, Deer Park, Galena Park, Beach City,
Cloverleaf, Highlands, Channelview, Barrett, Mont Belvieu, Old
River-Winfree, Cove, Houston Ship Channel, San Jacinto State Park,
and Northshore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
