...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT TRINITY...CENTRAL HOUSTON AND
NORTHWESTERN POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM CDT...

At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Kennard, or 9 miles east of Crockett, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Apple Springs, Groveton, Lovelady, Kennard, Weches, Pennington, and
Centralia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
