...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BRAZORIA AND CENTRAL
MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 332 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jones Creek to South Texas Nuclear Plant.
Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, southern Lake Jackson, Bay City, Freeport, Sweeny,
Brazoria, Jones Creek, Markham, Sargent, Van Vleck, southeastern Wild
Peach Village, and Wadsworth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
