...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WHARTON...
SOUTHWESTERN FORT BEND...SOUTHWESTERN BRAZORIA AND CENTRAL MATAGORDA
COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

At 246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Richwood to Van Vleck. Movement was south
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Jackson, Angleton, Bay City, Freeport, Clute, West Columbia,
Sweeny, Surfside Beach, Richwood, Brazoria, Jones Creek, Oyster
Creek, Holiday Lakes, Bailey`s Prairie, Bonney, Sargent, Wild Peach
Village, Van Vleck, Boling-Iago, and Wadsworth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
