The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Galveston County in southeastern Texas...
  Chambers County in southeastern Texas...
  Southeastern Liberty County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 716 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles southeast of Devers to near Anahuac to near
  San Leon, moving east at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Beach City, southeastern Mont Belvieu, Anahuac, Old River-Winfree,
  Ames, Daisetta, Cove, Devers, High Island, Smith Point, Gilchrist,
  Rollover Pass, Stowell, Winnie, Bolivar Peninsula, Oak Island,
  Wallisville, and Hankamer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
