The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
  South central Walker County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 1225 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Montgomery,
  or 13 miles west of Willis, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Conroe, Willis, Pinehurst, Panorama Village, Magnolia, Cut And
  Shoot, Montgomery, Lake Conroe Dam, Dobbin, and Dacus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Lake Conroe, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
