A strong high far northeast of the state will produce fresh to
locally strong trade winds over the eastern half of the state and
moderate trades over the western half of the state today. Easterly
trade winds will strengthen over the western waters from Thursday
onward.

.TODAY AND TONIGHT...Kauai and Oahu waters, east-southeast winds
10 to 15 knots. Big Island and Maui County waters, east winds 15

seconds and south 3 to 4 feet at 14 seconds. Scattered showers.
.WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 25 knots, except
