A strong high far northeast of the state will produce fresh to
locally strong easterly trade winds over Big Island and Maui
County waters and moderate east to southeast winds around Oahu
and Kauai through today. Fresh to locally strong easterly trade
winds will spread across the state from Thursday through the
weekend.
