...River Statement For The Tennessee River at Florence...

Runoff from rainfall is expected to cause river levels to fluctuate
above the action stage above 16 feet on the Tennessee River at
Florence. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage, some
nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If additional
rainfall occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Tennessee River at Florence.
* At 7:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
  maximum value of 17.5 feet early Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Flooding of McFarland Park begins.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
