...River Statement For The Paint Rock River at Woodville...

Runoff from recent rainfall is expected to cause river levels to
rise rapidly on the Paint Rock River at Woodville. Although it is
not expected to reach flood stage, some nuisance flooding of
lowlands may still occur. If additional rainfall occurs, the river
could still reach Flood Stage.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.8 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.4 feet
  tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Some minor overflow of lowlands begins.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels. Additional information
is available at www.weather.gov.
