...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM CDT
FOR JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN MADISON...NORTHEASTERN DEKALB...
SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN AND SOUTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 237 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast of
Skyline, or 16 miles west of Bridgeport, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Bridgeport, Henagar, Stevenson, Sylvania, Hollywood,
Huntland, Skyline, Gurley, and Ider.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for Middle
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 AM CDT
for north central and northeastern Alabama.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
