It was mostly sunny across central and eastern Kansas this
afternoon with south winds at 5 to 15 mph. Late afternoon
temperatures were generally in the lower to mid-80s.

Except for some early evening showers and storms in northwest
Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southwest Missouri, dry weather is
expected across mid-America tonight. Some patchy fog is possible
again late tonight across northeast Oklahoma and northwest
Arkansas. A weak cold front will move southeast out of Nebraska on
Saturday and by the late afternoon will stretch from central Iowa
to central Kansas into northwest Oklahoma. Isolated to widely
scattered thunderstorms will be possible along this front in the
late afternoon and early evening.

Low temperatures tonight fall into the 50s and 60s across the
heartland. Highs on Saturday will generally range from the 80s to
the lower 90s, except for cooler 70s in western Nebraska and
northwest Kansas.
