Numerous showers and storms moved across Kansas during the
overnight hours. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s with light
southeast winds.

Numerous showers and storms will march southeast across the region
this morning affecting mainly southern Kansas into Oklahoma. Some
of these storms could produce damaging winds up to 70 mph. Surface
low pressure will deepen over eastern Colorado today and south
winds will increase over the region this afternoon. More showers
and storms could re-develop this afternoon. Daytime highs will
range from the low 90s in western sections of Nebraska and Kansas,
to the low 80s in eastern Kansas and Missouri.

A upper level weather disturbance will move across the region
tonight and bring more chances of showers and storms to southern
and eastern Kansas southward into Oklahoma. Once again some of
these storms could become severe. Overnight lows will range from
the 50s in western sections of Nebraska and Kansas with 60s
elsewhere across the central plains.
