...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WILSON...LABETTE...NEOSHO...
MONTGOMERY...WOODSON AND ALLEN COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 957 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Moran to near Tyro.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Parsons, Coffeyville, Independence, Chanute, Iola, Neodesha,
Fredonia, Cherryvale, Caney, Humboldt, Yates Center, Erie, Altamont,
St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas, Moran, Thayer, Edna, and Dearing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
