The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern McPherson County in central Kansas...
  Marion County in central Kansas...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 757 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 miles northeast of Florence to near Walton, moving
  southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hillsboro, Marion, Moundridge, Peabody, Canton, Florence, Goessel,
  Burns, Lincolnville, Lehigh, Marion Lake, and Pilsen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
