...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM EDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20
nm...
Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 40
nm...

At 438 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Greenville
Reef, moving east at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
2 C R Ledge, Vermillion Reef, Greenville Reef, Horseshoe Area, City
Of Richmond, and Horseshoe Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. If caught on
the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you
and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.
