...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PENDER...
SOUTHEASTERN BLADEN...NORTH CENTRAL BRUNSWICK AND EAST CENTRAL
COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Kelly, or 20 miles southeast of Elizabethtown, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rowan, Northwest, Sandyfield, Point Caswell, Rooks, Malpass Corner,
Kelly, Currie, The Borough, Delco, Riegelwood, Montague, East
Arcadia, Atkinson, and Sandy Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
