...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ROBESON AND BLADEN
COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 625 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Ammon, or 10 miles north of Elizabethtown, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elizabethtown, Rowan, Bladen Community College, Tolarsville, Duart,
Ammon, Lagoon, Tobermory, Ruskin, White Oak, Jerome, White Lake,
Dublin, Tar Heel, and Bladen County Hospital.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 34
and 35.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
