...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF OHIO...SWITZERLAND...
CARROLL...KENTON...BOONE...GRANT...OWEN AND GALLATIN COUNTIES THROUGH
1230 AM EDT...

At 1151 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Madison to La Grange to southwest of Bardstown,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, frequent
         cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
         vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death.
         Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Independence, Erlanger, Edgewood, Elsmere, Fort Mitchell,
Villa Hills, Carrollton, Williamstown, Crescent Springs, Walton,
Crestview Hills, Lakeside Park, Rising Sun, Oakbrook, Burlington,
Union, Crittenden, Dry Ridge, and Vevay.

This includes the following Interstates...
 I-71 in Kentucky between mile markers 39 and 77.
 I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 144 and 186.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek
shelter under trees when lightning threatens.
6 A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for
southeastern Indiana...and northern Kentucky.
