warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central Ohio.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN HOCKING COUNTY...

At 404 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Logan to near Albany, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Logan, Nelsonville, Starr, Ilesboro, Union Furnace, Lake Logan State
Park, Haydenville, Oreville, and Carbon Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near a lake, get away from the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
