...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN GRANT AND EASTERN
GALLATIN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area.Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northern and northeastern Kentucky...and south central and
southwestern Ohio.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT
FOR MASON...ROBERTSON...BRACKEN...KENTON...CAMPBELL...NORTHERN
BOONE...PENDLETON...HAMILTON...SOUTH CENTRAL BUTLER...CLERMONT...
BROWN AND SOUTHWESTERN ADAMS COUNTIES...

At 144 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Bright to near Neville, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Cincinnati, Fairfield, Covington, Florence, Independence, Norwood,
Forest Park, Erlanger, Fort Thomas, Newport, Sharonville, Blue Ash,
Springdale, Reading, Montgomery, North College Hill, Maysville,
Madeira, Edgewood, and Alexandria.

This includes the following Interstates...
 I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 0 and 15.
 I-74 in Ohio between mile markers 7 and 19.
 I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 174 and 191.
 I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 0 and 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near a lake, get away from the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
