...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN EFFINGHAM COUNTY...

At 804 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Effingham to 6 miles southwest of Dieterich to near
Bible Grove, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Teutopolis, Dieterich, and Montrose around 810 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Effingham County Airport.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 151 and 164.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 89 and 104.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for south central
and southeastern Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Lincoln.
