...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Indiana, including
  the following counties, in south central Indiana, Lawrence. In
  southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene and Martin.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1002 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen over the last hour.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cannelburg, Burns City, West Boggs Lake, Indian Springs and
    Silverville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
