...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM EDT
FOR MONROE...SOUTHWESTERN BROWN...SOUTHEASTERN OWEN...MARTIN...
LAWRENCE...GREENE AND NORTHEASTERN DAVIESS COUNTIES...

At 1031 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bloomfield to 18 miles southeast of Linton to 6
miles north of Shoals to 14 miles west of Paoli, moving east at 70
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Bloomington, Bedford, Linton, Bloomfield, Shoals, Ellettsville,
Mitchell, Loogootee, Worthington, Odon, Oolitic, Lyons, Elnora, Switz
City, Newberry, Crane, Smithville, West Boggs Lake, Tunnelton, and
Bartlettsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for southwestern
Indiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
