Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
519 AM CDT Sun May 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...Light patchy fog has developed across the southern
districts and light patchy fog will be possible again Monday
morning but dense fog development is not expected. It will be dry
warm and breezy today but rain chances, including the threat for
severe storms will return from the north tonight. This activity
will be a long and south of a cold front that will drop into the
northern districts by sunrise Monday and then stall across the
southern districts by Monday evening. Much of the area will be
cooler and drier but rain chances will continue across the south
due to the stalled front.
