...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT
FOR NORTHERN CHICOT...ASHLEY...NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON AND CENTRAL
BOLIVAR COUNTIES...

At 216 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Mound Bayou to Winterville to near Snyder, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Lake Village, Portland, Montrose, and Mcmillan Corner around 220
  AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Halley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for southeastern
Arkansas...and northwestern Mississippi.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
