Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near A L T Buoy to 11 nm east of Talbot Island, moving east at 20 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours.
