...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PIERCE...
NORTHWESTERN ECHOLS...SOUTHEASTERN ATKINSON...NORTHWESTERN WARE AND
NORTHERN CLINCH COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM EDT...

At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Pearson to 7 miles northwest of Homerville
to near Valdosta. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Waycross, Homerville, Pearson, Argyle, Du Pont, Boggy Bay, Mayday,
Pebble Hill, Jamestown, and Manor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern Georgia.
