...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HAMILTON AND
WESTERN ECHOLS COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1023 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Park, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, pea size hail, and minor
         flooding due to heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Jennings, Statenville, and Mayday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
