Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
507 AM EDT Sat May 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...The weather is expected to remain unsettled through the
weekend and into Monday. There will be multiple rounds of showers
and thunderstorms during this period, with some storms being strong
to severe Sunday into Sunday night. The wet pattern will keep any
fire weather concerns at bay. Then we will see cooler weather
ushered in by mid-week on westerly to northerly flow at the surface
and this will bring a break in the weather. This will drop afternoon
relative humidity values into the mid- to upper 30s Thursday and
Friday.
