LESLIE...LETCHER...SOUTHEASTERN PERRY...SOUTHEASTERN WHITLEY AND SOUTHEASTERN CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT... At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Hosea to Zion Hill. Movement was east at 70 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Barbourville, Whitesburg, Harlan, Pineville, Hyden, Middlesboro, Letcher, Cumberland, Loyall, Evarts, Lynch, Benham, Wallins Creek, Blackey, Big Fork, Brightshade, Varilla, Swan Lake, Louellen, and Premium.
