Showers and thunderstorms developed along a warm front overnight
and spread into portions of southwest and central Nebraska this
morning. Some storms produced very heavy rain near the Kansas
border with totals exceeding two inches in spots. Lows were
generally in the lower to mid 50s across the area.

Additional thunderstorms will develop across western Nebraska this
afternoon and push east through the evening. Some will be capable
of producing large hail, damaging winds, and torrential rainfall,
with the greatest threat west of Highway 83. Highs will range from
mid 70s north central to lower 80s panhandle and far southwest.
