It was a breezy but relatively quiet day across western and north
central Nebraska. High temperatures ranged from 73 degrees at
North Platte to 78 degrees at Ainsworth. Isolated to scattered
showers and thunderstorms developed across western Nebraska early
this evening. However, the severe threat was limited due to early
morning activity.

While some additional showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled
out for far southwest Nebraska early tonight, a majority of the
area will remain dry overnight. A cold front will sweep through
the area tonight with increasing northerly winds in its wake,
gusting 25 to 35 miles per hour. Low temperatures will range from
the mid 40s across the Sandhills to mid 50s across southwest and
north central Nebraska.
