A cold front swept through the Sandhills overnight, resulting in a
few light rain showers and blustery northwest winds. Morning lows
ranged from the mid 40s in northwest Nebraska to the upper 50s in
far southwest and central Nebraska.

Fair skies are in order today, along with gradually weakening
north winds. The winds eventually switch to southeasterly this
evening ahead of the next weather maker. Scattered showers and
storms develop near the Colorado border around sunset, then
overspread the Sandhills late tonight. Highs today will generally
be in the 70s, while lows tonight will be in the lower 50s.
