807 FZUS54 KLCH 311455 CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 955 AM CDT Fri May 31 2024 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-010315- 955 AM CDT Fri May 31 2024 .SYNOPSIS... A line of thunderstorms will push across the coastal waters through early this afternoon. Winds ahead of and within this line of storms will have the potential to gust as high as 45 knots. Away from storms, onshore flow around 15 knots and seas of 3-4 feet will prevail today and tonight. Exercise caution headlines have been added. Another round of thunderstorms will develop Saturday although winds away from storms should be lower.
