...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
  near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 26.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Monday was 26.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain in a flat crest near 26.4
    feet tonight, then begin a slow fall on Tuesdasy. It is
    expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and
    continue falling to 23.1 feet Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Monday was 34.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 30.1 feet

    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Monday was 74.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage near 74.1 feet for the next several days.
  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.

  - At 7:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Monday was 10.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain in a flat crest
    around 10.4 feet through Tuesday, then begin a slow fall.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.9 feet, This flooding will be similar to the
  flooding expierenced in the flood of March 2001. Homes in
  Deweyville have water in them.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 27.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Monday was 27.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 25.9 feet
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
