...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Bon Wier.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur.
  Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon
  Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest
  Vernon Parish begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 33.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday was 34.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday morning and continue falling to 28.0 feet
    Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
  near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:16 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 26.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:16 PM CDT Tuesday was 26.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain in a flat crest near 26.6
    feet tonight into Wednesday then begin a slow fall. It will
    fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 19.8 feet.

    evening.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 73.0 feet, Flooding expected in the Mont Neches,
  Barlow Lake and Sheffields Ferry communities. Some homes may
  become flooded as well, especially in the Barlow Lake community.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 73.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 74.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain around 73.5 feet tonight
    into Wednesday, then gradually fall over the next several
    days.
  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Widespread moderate lowland flooding will
  occur. Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded.
  Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will
  also occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwest
  Beauregard Parish have some flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Tuesday was 27.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 25.4 feet Sunday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
